Extraordinary concert in honour of Saint Cecilia, patron saint of musicians, which will fuse the sweetness and brilliance of the white voices of the Escolania de Lluc with the strength and splendour of La Filharmònica Porrerenca.
The musical proposal Mallorca i la Mediterrània includes works by Mallorcan composers and other composers who have been inspired by Mallorca and the Mediterranean, such as Albéniz, Brotons, Vidal and Martorell, among others.
This is a concert created jointly by the Escolanía de Lluc and La Filharmònica Porrerenca directed by Ricard Terrades and Joan R. Xamena. With different melodies and tunes that will take us on a sound journey between Mallorca, the Balearic Islands and the Mediterranean.
