This work of Pilar Pérez Solano won the 2014 Goya Award for best documentary film. It tells how education has been one of the great social engagements of the Segunda Republica(Second Republic), aimed at setting up a structure to bring culture and education to all corners of the country.
The republican teachers, modern, independent women, participated in this project to change a society that for the most part was poor and illiterate.
After the screening of the documentary a discussion with the director Pilar Pérez Solano will be held, led by Josep Quetglas.
