‘Les llargues nits de Can Salas’

Under the direction of playwright Toni Galmés will be premiered this work inspired by the book Dones republicanes (Republican Women) by Margalida Capellà. It is a dramatized reading that reproduces the conversations that the book's author had with republican women imprisoned in the Can Salas jail. The representation is organized by the Associació Memòria de Mallorca, it aims to disseminate the brutal repression that the protagonists of this story underwent.

There will be a mini tour around the villages of Mallorca with representations in Manacor (July 18, in Bar café Xarop),Lloseta (July 19 at the Cultural Centre Sa Mina) and Palma (July 20, in Can Alcover).
