Les llargues nits a Can Sales

With Toni Galmés address playwright, Les llargues nits a Can Sales  (Long Nights Can Salas) is a work inspired by the book Dones republicanes (Republican Women) of Margalida Capellà. This is a dramatic reading conversations that reproduces the book's author had with Republican women prisoners in jail Can Sales de Palma.

Among the more than a thousand prisoners who passed through this penitentiary, the Communist leader Extremadura Matilde Landa protagonized one of the most tragic events. The assembly is played by Francesca Vadell, Mercè Sancho and Rosa Serra.

Under the footsteps of Melpomene, muse of tragedy,  Les llargues nits a Can Sales is part of the Cycle to the Muses  organized every summer the Friends of the Museum of Manacor and History Museum of Manacor.
