Three persons (two men and one woman) share seats in the cold waiting room of a company for a job interview. In the background the sound of soft and repetitive music can be heard. Time passes and no one comes to fetch them, so they decide to go out and see what's on the other side of the door. But a voice announces that any exit is final and will be considered as job abandonment.
This oppressive situation is the storyline of La lengua de las corbatas (The language of the neckties), a burlesque comedy written and directed by Sophie Gazel staged by the Catalan company Los Afinados and the French Théâtre Organic. It is interpreted by Judith Martin, Sergi Estebanell and Pablo Contestabile.
