A coproduction between France and Norway directed by Aki Kaurismaki (2011), which oscillates between comedy and drama. Marcel Marx is a former bohemian writer who confines himself voluntarily in the French city of Le Havre to work as a shoe shiner to be closer to the people. His life is a haven of peace until he meets an African immigrant persecuted by the police. A fairytale that will make you smile.
