The singer and composer Ramón Melendi (Oviedo, 1979) presents his latest album titled Lágrimas desordenadas in Palma, with much more pop sound than his previous work, Volvamos a empezar, which was more rock.
The Asturian singer got known to the public with the song Con la luna llena, chosen as the official song of the Tour of Spain in 2004. This success was followed by the release of several albums with closer rumba rhythms like Que el cielo espere sentao (2005), Mientras no cueste trabajo (2006) o Curiosa la cara de tu padre.
In 2012, Melendi participated as coach of the TV show La Voz. After a few months two artists of his group, Maika (Entre tus manos) and Paula Rojo (Solo tú), released their first single.
