‘L’habitació blava’

Norbert Martínez and David Jungles direct this free version written by David Haro of La Ronda, the most controversial work of Arthur Schnitzler (1862-1931). This Austrian playwright, of profession physician, was one of the first German-language authors to use interior monologue, although he was primarily known for some erotically charged works that resulted shocking to the morality of the time.

The first public performance of La Ronda took place in Vienna in 1921, which resulted in the closing of the theater by the police and Schnitzler tried for obscenity.

L'habitació blava  (The Blue Room), a production of La Brutal, is interpreted by Nao Albert, Aurea Marquez, Maria Rodriguez and David Jungles. Sex, love, lust and perversion are the ingredients of this coral work that interweaves several short stories within a wide range of relationships. (Not recommended for children under 16 years).
