‘L’Editto Bulgaro’

Catalan

Is the second production of the company La Calòrica presented at the Grec Festival of Barcelona in 2012. It is inspired by documented theater and the staging plays with the parameters of the late shows and the Italian theater and storytelling, blending humor, songs and criticism of the flawed relationship between politics and the media.

L'Editto Bulgarian situates us in an incident on April 18, 2002, when the then Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi, on an official visit to Bulgaria, declared at a press conference that the comedian Daniele Luttazzi, and journalists Enzo Biagi and Michele Santoro, made a criminal use of public television when talking about his relationship with the Mafia. Those statements are known as the ' Bulgarian' edict and, ten years later, Daniele Luttazzi continues vetoed by the Italian television.

The production is led by Joan Yago and has the dramaturgy of Israel Solà. Interpreted by Xavi Francés, Marc Rius, Aitor Galisteo Rocher and Arnau Puig.
