Jazz and literature intertwine in this proposal for the 27th Mallorca Jazz Sa Pobla Festival. Jazz has given literature as much inspiration, stories and rhythm as bars could have one of John Coltrane's infinite tracks.
The new edition of Mallorca Jazz Sa Pobla presents this show with a text by the poet Joan Margarit (1938-2021) in which Joan Gomila (rhapsody) and Cesc Montané (saxophone) participate.
Mythical figures like Charlie Parker, Billie Holiday or Ella Fizgerald have a place in Margarit's verses. This show illustrates his poetry by contextualizing his work.
