A key piece in the history of opera, and one of the most represented titles worldwide, offered deferred from the Teatro Regio in Parma. The libretto is based on the play El trovador, whose plot, intricate and novelistic, set in Spain (between Biscay and Aragon) at the beginning of the fifteenth century in the historical context of the revolt of Jaume d'Urgell (Count of Urgell) against Ferdinand I. It is a work of great beauty and musical complexity.
