This year marks the first centenary of the birth of the Argentine bandoneonist and composer Astor Piazzolla (1921-1992), and the XLIII Deià International Music Festival celebrates it with this concert by Sergio Bustos (voice) and Gori Matas (piano) .

The Deià International Music Festival was created in 1978 by the late Patrick Meadows, American musician and poet, and his partner Stephanie Shepard. Since 2000, the artistic director of the festival is the pianist Alfredo Oyágüez Montero.
