Salva Bolta directs this musical comedy in three acts written by Bertolt Brecht and Dorothy Lane with music of Kurt Weill. Adapted and translated into Catalan by Juan V. Martínez Luciano and Salvador Vendrell, it is a co-production of the Institut Valencià de Cultura and Diputació de València.
In Happy End - a critique of capitalism and its excesses narrated as a story of black cinema - we find the nonconformity and rebelliousness of Brecht's texts and one of Weill's soundtracks inspired by the music that sounded in Berlin's underworld, With songs like Surabaya Johnny, Bilbao song or El tango de los marineros.
