Ballet in two acts with music by Adolphe Adam, choreography by Jean Coralli and Jules Perrot and libretto by Theophile Gautier and Jules-Henri Vernoy, based on the work De l'Allemagne (1835) by Heinrich Heine. The story of Giselle combines the classic fairy tale with a modern romantic comedy of real action.
The Moscow Ballet now includes it in its repertoire and presents it for the first time in the Palma Auditorium, With solo dancers Cristina and Alexei Terentiev.
Founded by Timur Fayziev in 1989, the Moscow Ballet was the only one in Russia invited to participate in 1991 in the last tour of England, Norway and Sweden of the legendary dancer and choreographer Rudolf Nureyev.
