‘La girafa i la balena’

The Mallorcan company Em sembla una bona idea presents La girafa i la balena at the 26th Festival Internacional de Teatre de Teresetes de Mallorca, a show of object manipulation, finger and glove puppets and live music by Arantxa Andreu, author and director of the piece.

Under the fig tree, a good man falls asleep and dreams of the encounter between a whale and a giraffe: the illusion of knowing each other, the obvious difficulties and how they overcome them. When he wakes up, he invites his companion to dinner al fresco and they enjoy the beauty of simple and emphatic pleasures: moonlight, toast, grapes, bread, love.
