This production by the Villamarta Theatre of Jerez is a shortened version of Mozart's The Magic Flute, in family show format. The opera, with a libretto by Emmanuel Schikaeder, premiered at the Theater an der Wien in Vienna in September 1791, two months before the death of the Austrian composer.
With musical direction by Fernando Marina and stage director Francisco Lopez, in the show will interfere el Cor del Teatre Principal de Palma and the Symphony Orchestra of the Balearic Islands. The cast is made up of ten opera singers.
