This year will be celebrated the centenary of the birth of two distinguished writers in Catalan: Salvador Espriu (Gerona, 1913-Barcelona, 1985) and Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel (Palma de Mallorca, 1913-Barcelona, 1938).
The relationship between the two authors served as inspiration for this play that is directed by Teresa Vilardell and part of the activities of Any Espriu. A stage proposal - the name is taken from one of the most famous verses by Rosselló-Pòrcel - reviving a friendship that goes from mutual admiration and affection to the personal and ideological differences in the context of the Republic.
Flames a la fosca is interpreted by Manel Barceló, Fina Rius, Salvador Miralles and Miquel Palol. The assembly is co-produced by the Grec Festival of Barcelona 2013, Barcelona Provincial Council, La Trilateral and Mola Produccions.
