Although Fisuras en el aire (Cracks in the air) is her first individual book, Araceli Esteves is not an unknown author and her stories have appeared in the anthology Velas al viento (Sails in the wind) (editorial Cuadernos del Vigía) and Mar de Pirañas (Sea of Piranhas) (editorial Menoscuarto) as well as in written press in Latin America and the United States.
This is a book of fiction in which the author's words show cracks through which connect different realities. The boundary between reality and fantasy, waking and dream (or nightmare), life and death, or the known and unknown dimension is very thin.
