Pep Tosar directs this show based on the life and work of Fernando Pessoa. A multidisciplinary montage that wants to recreate the universe of the Portuguese writer, one of the great poets of the 20th century, using the text but also the languages of the circus, music and audiovisuals.
In El fingidor, Tosar shares dramaturgy with Evelyn Arévalo, with Elisabet Raspall on piano, Joana Gomila vocals and synthesizer, circus numbers by Grisela Juncà and Tomeu Amer and video projections by Agustí Torres, with its images shot in Lisbon and interviews with experts in the play from Pessoa: Maria José de Lancastre, Richard Zenith, Jerónimo Pizarro, Perfecto Cuadrado, Manuela Nogueira (the poet's niece) and Nicolau Dols. Languages: Catalan, Spanish and Portuguese (subtitled).
