The Catalan company Titelles Sebastià Vergés opens in Mallorca, within the 17th International Festival of Teatre de Teresetes, this adaptation of the popular musical The Wizard of Oz. The author is Quim Carné and performed by actors Montserrat Albalate and Sebastià Vergés, using glove puppets.
Dorothy is a girl who lives in Kansas with her aunt and uncle and on a stormy day travels beyond the rainbow, to the Land of Oz, a different world full of fairies and fantasy. She meets a lion with phobia, a scarecrow with straw tail and a tin android. Together they live a world of adventure pursued by the Witch of the West.
