'La extinta poética'

The collaboration between the company Nueve de Nueve, dramatist Eusebio Calonge and director Paco de la Zaranda (National Theater Award 2010) is this visceral portrait of a family on the verge of madness.

La extinta poética (The extinct poetics) is a punch to a society of schizophrenic consumption that needs at the same time pills to calm down and pills to stimulate oneself. And in the midst of all this, the poetry that emerges as a drowned Ophelia.

The work is performed by the four actors that make up the company Nueve de Nueve: Carmen Barrantes, Laura Gómez-Lacueva, Ingrid Magrinyà and Rafael Ponce.
