The Can Gelabert country house hosts this ambitious exhibition by the French artist Barbara Viel, in which she has collected more than thirty works from 2008 to 2022.
After graduating in applied arts in Paris, Barbara Viel (Nantes, 1971) left France to travel alone and since then she has not stopped, except in Mallorca, which was her place of residence for many years.
At the Joan Miró Foundation in Palma she discovered engraving, which she would later continue to explore at the BBK in Berlin. This experience, that of engraving, has greatly influenced her painting.
