'La excepción y la regla'

La extraña compañía stages La excepción y la regla (The Exception and the Rule), the last didactic piece written by Bertolt Brecht. In it, a foreign merchant organizes an expedition to the Mongolian desert in search of oil. Hire a local guide and porter.

But the relationships between the three are marked by the ambition of the merchant who is clouding and displeasing the coexistence as the journey progresses. The race to arrive first, leaving the competitors behind and the harshness of the desert are mixed with the cultural and social differences between them, putting the characters in an extreme situation.

Directed by Catalina Lladó, La excepción y la regla is performed by Alba Flores, Santiago Blanco, Belén López-Valcárcel, Berta de la Dehesa and Sara Sanz. Language: Spanish.
