The Max Teatre Musical company presents Encanto, the story of a young girl named Mirabel Madrigal who is the only one in her family who does not have magical powers.
The Madrigals are special, they live in a haunted house in the middle of the Colombian jungle. Each member of the family has a unique magical ability that grants them an extraordinary gift.
For example, Mirabel’s sister, Lluïsa, is exceptionally strong, her brother Antonio can communicate with animals and her sister Isabela controls the nature around her.
Even though she has no powers, Mirabel is an essential part of the family and strives to find her place in the world. When the magic of the house begins to fade, the Madrigal community faces imminent danger and Mirabel decides to embark on a journey to discover the mystery behind the disappearance of magic in order to save the family and the home.
