Sílvia Mut directs Els Buonaparte, a historical comedy written by Ramon Madaula that is full of secrets and intense emotions.
The plot takes place after Napoleon's invasion of the Iberian Peninsula and the subsequent overthrow of the Bourbons. Joseph I, placed on the throne by Napoleon, faces revolts after the victory of the Spanish army at Bailén. The work takes us to Vitoria, where Napoleon travels from Paris to demand that José return to Madrid. The story culminates in a nighttime meeting between the two brothers in a manor house, full of confessions, jealousy, disputes and mistrust, although without witnesses.
