The Cia. As Marías presents at the Festival de Teatre Romà de Pol·lèntia the work Las dos en punto, inspired by the true story of the Fandiño Ricart sisters. The assembly is interpreted by Lluki Portas and Lucía Sánchez.
Coralia and Maruxa Fandiño Ricart, better known as Las Marías, were born in Santiago de Compostela. The anarchist militancy of their brothers led them to be persecuted by Franco and to end up living in misery.
In the 50s and 60s, every day, always at two o'clock, they went for a walk in the streets of the city with their eccentric dresses and makeup and complimenting the university students. They became two charismatic and bizarre characters from Galicia and, above all, a symbol of resistance to the different forms of violence they suffered from being women. Show in Spanish.
