'La disolución del tiempo' by Xim Llompart

Curated by Cristina Ramos and Christian Lübber, this exhibition by Xim Llompart emerges as a reflective exercise on the anthropocentric perception of time and its organization through light. La disolución del tiempo is installed in the Espai dipòsit of the Casal Solleric in Palma, recovering the old function of this space as an oil reservoir for the public lighting of the city.

In an effort to materialize the dissatisfaction of the now or the cyclic processes of matter, Xim Llompart (Palma, 1983) presents a series of installations that deconstruct the most alienated image of the Balearic nocturnality to make us subjects of our own bodies.
