‘El discurs del rei’

Theatrical adaptation of the film script by David Seidler, which is set against the backdrop of the most turbulent time in the history of the United Kingdom.

Based on real events, its protagonist is Albert, Duke of York, who becomes king of England (George VI) after the abdication of his older brother David (Edward VIII). His stuttering forces him to seek the help of a peculiar speech therapist, with unorthodox techniques and methods.
