Based on the novel by Sebastià Portell, El dia que va morir David Bowie is the story of a young man who traverses Barcelona with the frenzy of a compulsive libertine.
His attempts to accept himself and fit in with the ideal son his mother dreamed of end up leading him to a waiting room. There, he must undergo tests to determine if a venereal disease is circulating in his body. This small space will be a purgatory in which to rethink the history of his brief existence, a technical inspection of body and soul.
With dramaturgy by Pau Coya, it features performances by Catalina Florit, Xavi Frau, and Lluís Febrer. It is presented as part of the third edition of Literactua.
