'La desconeguda vida de Llorenç Moyà'

Binissalem City Council has declared 2016 Any Llorenç Moyà, recalling the birth centenary of the writer born in this town in 1916 and died in Palma in 1981. Within this frame will be presented this play, with direction and dramaturgy by Lluís Valenciano based on the life and the work of this illustrious and favorite son of Binissalem.

La desconeguda vida de Llorenç Moyà  (The unknown life of Llorenç Moyà), now presented in the Teatre Municipal de Palma Terra i Mar, seeks to highlight the figure of the Majorcan writer who cultivated various literary genres, especially poetry and theater. It is the story of how a Castilian spoken man, from a Falangist family, ends up being one of the most important people in Catalan literature in the Balearics.

The event is produced by Myotragus Teatre and is interpreted by Joan Maria Pascual, Francisca Puigserver and Jaume Segui 'Xuia'.
