It is the most famous work of French playwright Edmond Rostand (1868-1918), premiered to great acclaim at the Théâtre de la Renaissance in Paris in 1897 and now considered a classic of French theater. It is based on the figure of the poet, playwright and philosopher Cyrano de Bergerac, libertine intellectual contemporary of Moliere.
Oriol Broggi directs this production with a cast of actors in which appear Pere Arquillué, Marta Betriu, Bernat Quintana and Ramon Vila, among others. The stage design is by Max Glaenzel and costume work by Berta Riera.
