The Aficine Augusta cinemas are hosting the Cutrecon On Tour event, a rowdy and festive marathon where three of the worst films in the world will be screened, according to the organisers, who are responsible for the international Cutrecon festival. After thirteen years filling the most emblematic cinemas in Madrid, the experience comes to Palma for the first time, to offer laughter and confusion with “films so bad that they are good”, in the words of the organisers.
The public will be able to see three blatant rip-offs of iconic franchises, such as the apocryphal Korean adaptation of Dragon Ball, the Indonesian imitation of Terminator and the Turkish version of Star Wars. All these films will be offered in their original version with Spanish subtitles.
