‘Cul-de-sac’

The Clandestines company presents Cul-de-sac, a play that places us in a near future where people have ceased to be the center of debates and politics and have become mere objects.

Gentrification, touristification, and repression ravage the city. In this dystopian context, two women seem willing to do anything to regain their lost dignity. But the journey they must undertake will not be easy. Because struggle, the only faith they have left, is a path fraught with doubt and contradictions.

It is a philosophical tragedy about the limits of power and ethics and the possibility of rebellion against oppression and injustice, a multidisciplinary, dreamlike, and cinematic proposal where the stage elements engage in dialogue with the characters' inner selves.
