'La croada al Regne sobre el mar'

This musical chronicle recounts the conquest of Majorca in 1229 from both sides, the Christian and the Muslim. The first based on the Llibre dels Fets; the second in the Kitab Ta'rin Mayurga, where it is told from the perspective of the Muslims residing in Mallorca.

This is the starting point of La croada al Regne sobre el mar, a proposal with musical direction by Pau Cladera Marroig performed by the Jove Orquestra de les Illes Balears, conducted by Joan Barceló Antúnez.

La croada al Regne sobre el mar opens the Cicle Primavera Felanitx 2023 organized by the Regiduría de Cultura. Program four concerts from April 8 to May 13.
