This novel by the Belgian writer Amélie Nothomb (Etterbeek, 1966) was an absolute bestseller when published in 2001, so much so that the 150,000 copies of the first print run sold out in a week. Now the Sala Muntaner Barcelona produces this play directed by Magda Puyo and interpreted by Lluís Soler and Xavier Ripoll.

Cosmètica de l’enemic  is an agile story that presents a set of two voices that are apposed, confronted and finally confused. A man tries to distract himself with reading while waiting for his plane, but is suddenly interrupted by the voice of another person that makes him listen to the story of a strange distressing and criminal life.
