Oriol Broggi directs this work by the 18th century Venetian playwright Carlo Goldoni, considered one of the fathers of Italian comedy.
Coralina is the servant of Ottavio's mansion, where she was born and raised "like a daughter" alongside the heir, the young Florindo. But now Mr. Ottavio has been widowed at an advanced age and has remarried Beatrice, who cunningly pulls all the strings so that her own son, Lelio, is the recipient of the old man's inheritance.
She has managed to banish young Florindo from his house and Coralina, demoted to the status of a last-level servant, has decided to follow him. They survive almost like beggars with the miserable pension that Mr. Ottavio gives them. But Coralina is lucid and stubborn, and she will make it her mission to restore Florindo's good position with his father and recover his assets.
Coralina, la serventa amorosa, is played by Mireia Aixalà, Joan Arqué Solà, Javier Boada, Rosa Gamiz, Clara de Ramón, Javier Ruano, Sergi Torrecilla, Ireneo Tranis, Ramon Vila and Jaume Viñas.
