‘Cor suec, sang finesa’

Documentary that chronicles the plight of the many Finns who during the 60's and 70 emigrated to Sweden to look for work which they could not find in their country. Amid the personal confessions of the two protagonists of the film, Cor suec, sang finesa (Swedish Heart, Finnish Blood) about the difficulties of adaptation of a community stigmatized by alcoholism, crime and shame of its members to be considered second-class citizens.

The film is directed by Mika Ronkainen, who just this year has been chosen by Variety as one of the ten most important European filmmakers for his trajectory and experience in documentary filmmaking, offered in original version with subtitles in Catalan.
