With the help of the book De re coquinaria, in this workshop will be disclosed, and tasted, the most exquisite dishes the ruling classes of ancient Rome would eat. This recipe book in Latin is attributed to Roman author Marcus Gavius Apicius, who lived in the first century during the reign of Tiberius, although apparently this is a later work, from the fourth or fifth century.
The workshop will be held at the Archaeological Museum of Son Fornes and will be an opportunity to try dishes that will make us travel in time elaborated with very familiar products.
