Alfredo Sanzol directs this new production by the National Dramatic Center of one of Federico García Lorca's most celebrated titles, La casa de Bernarda Alba.
With scenery by Blanca Añón, the approach of Alfredo Sanzol's staging is to unite the present with one of García Lorca's great works written almost 80 years ago. It dispenses with any local or rural reference and converts the house where Bernarda's daughters are sentenced to eight years of mourning into a space that refers to the virtual universe of the present, although faithfully respecting Lorca's text.
La casa de Bernarda Alba is played by Conchi Almeida, Caterina Alorda, Ester Bellver, Anna Berenguer, Eva Carrera, Lulu Cormicán, Ane Gabarain, Claudia Galán, Lluqui Herrero, Belén Landaluce, Patricia López Arnaiz, Inma Nieto, Sara Robisco, Isabel Rodes and Ana Wagener. Language: Spanish. Recommended age: from 12 years.
