The 8M film cycle: Women, bodies, norms and other impositions, organized by the Palma City Council, presents the 2007 Franco-Lebanese film Caramel, directed by Nadine Labaki.
It is set in Beirut, where five women regularly meet in a beauty salon where they talk and confide in each other. Men, sex and motherhood are at the center of their intimate and liberated conversations. It is projected in the original version in Arabic with Spanish subtitles.
