California Dreams takes place this July in CaixaForum Palma and consists of four films and a documentary:
02.07: Vertigo, directed by Alfred Hitchcock in 1958. Presentation by Germán Traver, president of the Audiovisual Cluster of the Balearic Islands.
10:07: El camino real (The royal path), a documentary directed by Jaime Prades 1964 on the foundation of missions by Junipero Serra throughout California and its projection on California today. Presentation by filmmaker Bartomeu Bestard.
16.07: The Mark of Zorro, film of 1940 directed by Rouben Mamoulian. Presentation by José Antonio Mendiola, film historian.
23.07: California, 1947 production directed by John Farrow. Presentation by Peter Barbadillo, producer of television and documentary films.
30.07: Seven Cities of Gold, a production of 1955 directed by Robert D. Webb. Presentation by Fernando Alomar, film critic for the newspaper Diario de Mallorca.
