Rafel Duran directs this play written by Ignasi Palerm and performed by Jaume Mut and Jaume Xuia. La caiguda de l'imperi Romà (The Fall of the Roman Empire) starts with an encounter in a park between a teacher of Latin and a guard who prevents him to sit on a bench. To the dismay of the teacher, moments of tension and misunderstanding will follow in which he laughs so as not to cry.
All this takes them to the present economic, financial, moral and psychological crisis. In the development of the play the characters explain their past life through the filter of this system in decline.
