‘Burt Bacharach, a Life in song’

The Cinema documentary and music series, organized by the Palma City Council and the Associació Balear d’Amics de les Bandes Sonores, projects this tribute concert to the great composer, producer and singer Burt Bacharach (Kansas City, Missouri, 1928).

The concert took place on June 26, 2015 at the Royal Festival Hall in London and the recording was conducted by  British Richard Valentine. In it, while journalist and television producer Michael Grade interviews him, several British singers perform a repertoire of his best songs: Walk on by, Do you know the way to San Jose, What the world needs now, I say a little prayer, I'll never fall in love again, Close to you.
