The brumales (or Brumalia) were the parties with which the ancient Romans celebrated the winter solstice. Although considered the origin of the Christmas celebration, its essence was quite different, as some debauchery were allowed in those days.
The groups La Búsqueda and Los Valendas evoke this festive and joyous spirit in concert format with an amazing mise en scène, where they play with the religious syncretism of Christmas and the paganism that characterizes the brumales.
Los Valendas are formed by Xavier Escutia, Antoni Noguera, Carlos Garau, Cristian Constantini and Juanjo Tomas. For its part, La Busqueda is comprised of Francisco Albéniz, Xavier Suarez, Luis Escorcia, Arantxa Andreu, Chus Coll Moreta, Jaume Compte, Oriol Moon, Bernat Xamena, Dani Feliu and Joan Taverner.
