Bonet of San Pedro was one of the greatest performers and composers of popular music in Mallorca. With a long and prolific career, he was part of groups like Los Trashumantes or Orchesta Rovira before creating Bonet de San Pedro, y los 7 de Palma, one of the most popular musical groups after the Spanish Civil War.
Author of hits like Raska-yú, Carita de Ángel, Bajo el cielo de Palma, Paisajes lindos Tiene Mallorca, Yo le cuento a las estrellas o Cala d'Or, among others. Some of his most representative songs passed an idyllic view of Mallorca that served to promote domestic tourism.
Through thirteen panels, this exhibition explains the life and work of this artist, which are accompanied by 32 photographs of different moments of his life projected on a monitor and showcases with personal objects such as instruments, vinyl records or scores.
