'El blues de Ellas'

The XXII AlcúdiaJazz Festival begins with this proposal by the trio led by Queralt Albinyana, an actress and singer with a powerful voice with more than twenty years of experience. In En el blues de las queralt albinyana and her group review the work of the great female blues composers in the United States, chronologically from the decade of 1929 to the present.

The repertoire pays tribute to the 'ladies of the Blues' who have marked the history of black music. An upcoming, fun and contrasting opportunity to meet these essential women through the music and lyrics of their songs.

Queralt Albinyana (voice) is accompanied by TotaBlues (harmonica, guitar and voice) and Martín J. Merino (guitar).
