American film from 1986 directed and written by David Lynch and starring Isabella Rossellini, Dennis Hopper, Kyle MacLachlan and Laura Dern. The title was taken from a famous song by Bobby Vinton, Blue Velvet.
The film describes several strange situations in a somewhat disturbing atmosphere, a constant in the films of David Lynch.
Blue Velvet is part of the cycle Cinefilms organized by CineCiutat which includes twelve classics of film history in original version with subtitles in Castilian. It is held every Thursday from 24 January to 11 April.
