The Fundació Aureum Studium celebrates its 2014-2015 season and programs this concert dedicated to Jean Sibelius (1865-1957). Under the heading of Baltic Sonorities, string orchestra of Studium Aureum performs works of small format and duration. Three mini symphonies in three movements whose titles are: Suite Champetre, Suite Mignonne and Rakastava.
Half an hour before the concert, the composer Mercè Pons gives a talk about these work and the Finnish composer Sibelius, who lived between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.
