‘Aquel no era yo’, by Esteban Crespo

Directed by Esteban Crespo the film Aquel era yo (That was not me), received the Goya for best short fiction in 2013. It has also been nominated for Best Short real action Film for the Oscar Awards 2014.

The film closely shows the conflict that traumatizes thousands of children each year. Democratic Republic of Congo, Uganda, South Sudan, Somalia, Afghanistan and Yemen are among the countries where children are forced to commit atrocities as mercenaries or become sex slaves.
