The IV Ballet season of the Teatre Principal de Palma opens with this own production which adds to the centenary of the premiere of El amor brujo (1915) by Manuel de Falla. The program is completed with El sombrero de tres picos (The Three-Cornered Hat), also written by the Spanish composer during his Parisian period.
In the production will participate the Ballet Español Illes Balears, with artistic and choreographic direction by Jose Cabrera and Beatriz Lora, and the Orquestra Simfònica Illes Balears, under the direction of Miquel Ortega.
In El sombrero de tres picos (The Three-Cornered Hat) intervene: Laura Esteso (Miller’s wife), Jose Cabrera (Miller), Jose Luis Ponce (Corregidor), Veronica Luque (Corregidor) and Jose Ivan Ibancos (Marten).
In El Amor Brujo: Beatriz Lora (Candelas) Jonathan Gomez de las Heras (Carmelo), Juan Francisco Gonzalez (Jose / spectrum), Natividad Calderon (Lucia), Conchita del Mar (Sorceress), Mar Campo (mezzosoprano), Jorge Espejo and Ruben Rosario (guitar), Kiko Carmona (percussion) and Nuria Millan (cantaora).
